Maury Ginsberg

Maury Ginsberg is an established American actor with a prolific career spanning over three decades in theater, film, and television, known for his versatility in both dramatic and comedic roles. He is a graduate of Bard College, where he majored in drama and dance, and further developed his craft through three seasons at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, where he met his long-time mentor and collaborator, the late Olympia Dukakis, with whom he performed in productions including The Cherry Orchard and Mother Courage. Ginsberg is widely recognized for his recurring television roles, including the attorney Steven Benowitz on the Marvel/Netflix series Jessica Jones and Simon White on the NBC drama Manifest. His extensive filmography includes appearances in movies such as 5 Flights Up (alongside Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton) and the Sundance winner Rocket Science, as well as numerous guest roles on classic and contemporary TV series like Friends, Star Trek: Voyager, The Blacklist, What We Do in the Shadows, and multiple Law & Order installments. He is part of the ensemble cast for the upcoming 2025 psychological thriller The Housemaid.
