Maximilian "Max" von der Groeben is a German actor, born on January 15, 1992, in Cologne, Germany, into a media family with his parents, Alexander and Ulrike von der Groeben, being sports journalists and actors. He began his career in the early 2000s, gaining widespread recognition for his breakthrough role as the lovable but dimwitted student "Danger" in the highly successful comedy film trilogy Fack ju Göhte (known internationally as Suck Me Shakespeer) from 2013 to 2017. He is also known for playing Freddy in the Bibi & Tina children's film series and for starring in the 2019 Netflix thriller Kidnapping Stella. His other notable credits include the period drama film Hinterland (2021), the biopic Lindenberg! Mach Dein Ding (2020), and the fantasy-comedy Chantal in Fairyland (2024), where he played Prince Bosco. Max von der Groeben has received several accolades, including a Golden Camera award for Best Young Talent in 2013 and a Bavarian Film Prize in 2016 for his ensemble work in Fack ju Göhte.
