Mekonnen Knife (born July 6, 2006, in Gerje Gefersa, Ethiopia) is an Ethiopian‑Australian triple-threat performer—an actor, dancer, singer, model, and comedian—who brings vibrant charisma and advocacy to every role. He began his stage career at age 12 as “Wolfie” at Dracula’s Cabaret, later hosting a children’s segment on Network 10’s Shake Takes and performing in The Nutcracker with the Queensland Ballet. Knife honed his craft through competitive dance and acrobatics before earning international attention for his portrayal of Vargas in Disney’s Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, a role he describes as “strong, fun, loyal” with both depth and charisma. Offscreen, he is a passionate advocate for equality, diversity, mental health, and community support, volunteering with underprivileged groups and leveraging his platform to foster representation and social awareness.With his dynamic energy and dedication, Mekonnen Knife is fast emerging as a powerful voice in both entertainment and activism.
