Melanie Benz is an American actress and dancer from Miami, Florida, with a diverse career spanning film, television, and dance. She began dancing at age four and acting at age nine, landing roles in over 20 national commercials. She trained under renowned choreographer Mia Michaels and became a dancer for the NBA's Miami Heat. Her dancing career led her to tour the world with major artists like Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, and P!NK, and to appear in numerous music videos and award shows.As an actress, Benz has appeared in films such as The Lincoln Lawyer (2011), City of Lies (2018), and The Hot Chick (2002). She has also had roles in television shows like All American, Grey's Anatomy, The Chosen, and a recurring role in The Lincoln Lawyer TV series. She is also credited for the 2025 film Tin Soldier.
