Memo Villegas

Memo Villegas (born Guillermo Villegas on June 25, 1987, in Toluca) is a celebrated Mexican actor and comedian who has transitioned from a viral internet sensation to one of the most respected dramatic and comedic talents in Latin American cinema. He first gained massive public recognition for his iconic role as the chaotic "Teniente Harina" in a 2019 comedy sketch by Backdoor, which became the most-watched YouTube video in Mexico that year and spawned a successful spin-off series on Amazon Prime. However, Villegas has consistently demonstrated his range beyond comedy, earning an Ariel Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his work in the harrowing drama Prayers for the Stolen (Noche de Fuego) and starring in Netflix's The Great Seduction (2023). In December 2025, he takes on the co-leading role of Alfredo Díaz in the Netflix film A Time for Bravery (La hora de los valientes), portraying a depressed police officer who finds an unlikely path to redemption while investigating a high-stakes conspiracy.
