Meredith Garretson is an American actress known for her work in television, film, and theatre. Born on April 27, 1983, and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, she initially pursued studies in photojournalism, pre-med, anthropology, and Spanish at James Madison University before deciding to focus on acting. After graduating, she moved to New York City, where she honed her craft by studying the Meisner technique at Maggie Flanigan Studio and earning an MFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2017.Garretson has appeared in various TV shows, including guest roles in "The Good Fight," "Fosse/Verdon," and "Prodigal Son." She gained significant recognition for her recurring role as Kate Hawthorne in the Syfy series "Resident Alien." In 2021, she portrayed Ali MacGraw in the Paramount+ miniseries "The Offer." Her film credits include "Friendship" (2024), "She Watches from the Woods" (2021), and "Blissestraße" (2011). In addition to her screen work, Garretson is a co-founder of Society Theatre, a New York City-based theatre company. She resides in Brooklyn and is a vegan.
