Michael McGlone (also credited as Mike McGlone) is an American actor, writer, singer-songwriter, comedian, and filmmaker, best known for his work in both film and television. Born on August 10, 1972, he rose to prominence for his leading role as Patrick McMullen in the acclaimed 1995 independent film The Brothers McMullen, marking the beginning of a frequent collaboration with writer/director Edward Burns, which continued with the film She's the One (1996). His other notable film appearances include One Tough Cop (1998), The Bone Collector (1999) opposite Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie, Dinner Rush (2000), and Hardball (2001). McGlone is also widely recognized as the deadpan, film noire-style spokesman for GEICO insurance in the "Rhetorical Questions" commercial campaign. On television, he has had recurring roles in series like Person of Interest as Detective Bill Szymanski, That's Life, and The Kill Point, and has made guest appearances on shows such as Psych and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
