Mikel Losada

Mikel Losada García is a highly prolific Basque Spanish actor working in film, theatre, and television. Born on December 28, 1978, in Ermua, Basque Country, Spain, he graduated in dramatic art from the Juan de Antxieta Musical Studies and Performing Arts Center in Bilbao. Losada has had a long and active career since the age of sixteen, participating in over a hundred audiovisual productions and more than a hundred theatrical works.He is known for a variety of roles in popular Spanish and international productions, including the feature film Ane Is Missing (Ane), which received multiple Goya Award nominations, and Breaking Walls. On television, his work includes roles in the long-running series Cuéntame cómo pasó and recent streaming hits like the Netflix limited series Muted and Intimacy. Losada is also a co-founder of the important Basque cultural initiative, the Pabellón Nº 6 project. His talent has been recognized with awards such as the Urregin Award for Best Actor for his performance in the play El viaje a ninguna parte, and he has been nominated multiple times at the Union of Basque Actors and Actresses Awards. He is married to actress Olatz Ganboa.
