Milena Markovna "Mila" Kunis is an American actress born on August 14, 1983, in Chernivtsi, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union. At the age of seven, she and her family immigrated to Los Angeles, California, in 1991. To help her acclimate and meet other children, her parents enrolled her in acting classes, which quickly led to commercial work.Kunis's breakthrough role came at the age of 14 when she was cast as Jackie Burkhart in the popular sitcom That '70s Show, a role she played for all eight seasons. During this time, she also began voicing the character of Meg Griffin in the animated series Family Guy, a role she continues to this day. Her transition to film was marked by a breakout role in the 2008 comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall.She has since starred in a wide variety of films, establishing herself in both comedy and drama. Her performance in the psychological thriller Black Swan (2010) earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination. Other notable film credits include the romantic comedies Friends with Benefits (2011) and Bad Moms (2016), the fantasy film Oz the Great and Powerful (2013), and the action film The Book of Eli (2010).
