Miles Mussenden
Miles Mussenden is a British-born American actor and music producer known for his extensive work across both film and television, often portraying figures of authority, gravitas, or quiet strength. Born in London to Guyanese parents, Mussenden moved to Brooklyn, New York, at a young age, where he began acting in school plays and later trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Before transitioning fully into acting, he entered the music business, co-founding Two Friends Records and GrassRoots Entertainment and working as a producer with artists like Shabba Ranks. His acting career took off with recurring and guest roles in television dramas such as Army Wives, Drop Dead Diva, and Stranger Things (where he played M.P. Officer Patrick). He is perhaps best known for his series regular role as Otis Johnson, the father of the main protagonist, in the Marvel series Cloak & Dagger (2018–2019). Mussenden has since maintained a high-profile presence on television, appearing as a recurring guest star in major series including Tulsa King (as Hendricks), Swagger (as Brett Hughes), Doom Patrol (as Frenzy), and Based on a True Story (as Detective Quincy Burrell). His film credits include roles in I, Tonya, Spider-Man: Homecoming (as a Park Ranger), and the upcoming biographical film Christy (2025).
