Mirren Mack is a Scottish actress, born on December 8, 1997, in Stirling, Scotland. Coming from a family of actors, she studied Musical Theatre at the Dance School of Scotland and later graduated with a BA in Acting from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She received a Dewar Arts Award in 2016 for her outstanding talent, which helped fund her drama school tuition.Mack gained widespread recognition for her main role as Kaya in the 2020 BBC drama series The Nest, for which she received a BAFTA Scotland nomination for Best Actress in Television. She is also known for playing Florence, who explores her asexuality, in three episodes of the Netflix series Sex Education (2019) and as Princess Merwyn in the Netflix fantasy miniseries The Witcher: Blood Origin (2022).Beyond television, Mack has a strong theatre background, having played Queenie in the National Theatre's production of Small Island (2022) and Ophelia in an adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet at the Bristol Old Vic. Her recent work includes playing Katherine Villiers, Duchess of Buckingham, in the Sky Atlantic period drama Mary & George (2024), and she is cast in the upcoming film Hedda (2025) and the BBC One miniseries A Tale of Two Cities (2026).
