Mizuo Peck is an American actress, widely recognized for her portrayal of Sacagawea in the popular "Night at the Museum" film series. Born on August 18, 1977, in New York City, Peck's heritage includes Japanese, Irish, English, and Cherokee roots. Her acting journey began early, as a member of the TADA! Youth Theater from ages 11 to 14. She went on to refine her craft by attending Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, and later graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theater from the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Theatre Arts.Peck's career encompasses a diverse range of work in film, television, and theater. While her role as Sacagawea in "Night at the Museum" (2006) and its sequels, "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian" (2009) and "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb" (2014), brought her international recognition, she has also appeared in other films such as "A Case of You" (2013), "Almost in Love" (2011), and "Scenes of the Crime" (2001). On television, her credits include "Madam Secretary," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "All My Children," and "Witchblade." Her stage work includes performances at the Public Theater, including "365 Days/365 Plays" and "All's Well That Ends Well" as part of their Shakespeare Lab Program. In addition to her acting, Peck has also done extensive commercial and voiceover work for various brands.
