Moe Dunford is an Irish actor born on December 11, 1987, in Dungarvan, County Waterford, Ireland. A graduate of the Gaiety School of Acting, he began his career with roles in television series like The Tudors and Game of Thrones. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Aethelwulf in the hit historical drama series Vikings from 2014 to 2018. His performance in the 2014 film Patrick's Day earned him a Best Actor IFTA Award. Dunford has continued to build a strong filmography with roles in notable Irish films such as Handsome Devil (2016), Michael Inside (2017), and Black '47 (2018). In more recent years, he has appeared in the film Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022) as the character Richter, and has also starred in the television series The Dry (2022-2024).
