Moses Ingram

Moses Ingram is an American actress, born in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1994, who has quickly risen to prominence with a notable career in both television and film. Growing up in a blended family of six children, she developed an interest in acting after her mother and a teacher enrolled her in an after-school theater program at the age of ten. She graduated from the Baltimore School for the Arts in 2012 and, due to initial financial constraints that prevented her from attending a four-year university, she enrolled at Baltimore City Community College, where she earned an associate degree while continuing to perform in local plays and work part-time jobs. Her acting potential was recognized when she won a regional competition in 2015, which led her to audition for and be accepted with scholarship support into the Yale School of Drama, from which she earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in 2019.Shortly after graduating, Ingram secured her breakout role as Jolene, the friend of the protagonist from the orphanage, in the 2020 Netflix miniseries The Queen's Gambit, for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Her career continued to gain momentum with significant roles, including Lady Macduff in Joel Coen's film adaptation of The Tragedy of Macbeth (2021) and Amy Sharp in the action thriller Ambulance (2022). She entered the Star Wars universe in 2022, starring as Reva Sevander/the Third Sister in the Disney+ miniseries Obi-Wan Kenobi, a performance for which she won a Saturn Award. Ingram has continued to take on diverse roles, appearing in the miniseries The Big Cigar and Lady in the Lake, and joining the cast of the upcoming Kathryn Bigelow Netflix film, A House of Dynamite.
