Mourad Zaoui
Mourad Zaoui is a Moroccan actor known for his diverse roles in film and television projects both in Morocco and internationally. Born on April 23, 1980, in Casablanca, Morocco, he initially pursued a bachelor's degree in business communication before moving to New York City to study English at Queens College, where he discovered his passion for cinema. His acting career officially began in 2004, shortly after returning to Morocco to take over his family's shoe manufacturing business due to his father's illness. Despite a challenging start with his first leading role in the 2005 feature film Wake Up Morocco, Zaoui has since appeared in over 60 projects. His notable international work includes the role of Hamid, a butler and Sufi monk, in the film The Forgiven (2021) alongside Ralph Fiennes and Jessica Chastain, as well as parts in major TV series such as The Blacklist (2017), The Night Manager (2016), and The Spy (2019). His film credits also feature Rock the Casbah (2013), The Physician (2013), and the upcoming The Lost Princess (2025).
