Nadiya Bychkova
Nadiya Bychkova is a world-class Ukrainian-Slovenian professional dancer and actress who has become a household name through her role on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing. Born on August 24, 1989, in Luhansk, Ukraine, she is a multiple-time Slovenian Ballroom and Latin Champion and a two-time World and European Champion in the specific "10-Dance" category—a discipline that requires mastery of five Latin and five Ballroom styles. In 2017, she joined the professional lineup of Strictly, where she has partnered with celebrities such as Dan Walker, Davood Ghadami, and most recently in 2025, rugby star Chris Robshaw. Known for her technical precision and height, she also holds two Guinness World Records for the most dance steps in 30 seconds (for fleckerls and pat-a-cakes). In December 2025, Bychkova made her international acting debut in the live-action Netflix film 10DANCE, an adaptation of the popular Japanese manga. Her casting was considered a major crossover event, as her real-life expertise as a 10-Dance champion perfectly aligned with the film’s central theme of competitive ballroom mastery. Beyond the screen, she remains a prominent figure in the dance world through her 2025 solo tour, A Special Evening with Nadiya Bychkova, and her production company, Branded Butterfly Entertainment, which she co-founded to develop new projects in film and the performing arts.
