Nargis Fakhri (born October 20, 1979, in Queens, New York) is an American actress and model known for her work in Bollywood and Hollywood films. Born to a Pakistani father and a Czech mother, she began her career as a model at the age of 16 and gained recognition after appearing in the 2009 Kingfisher Calendar. Fakhri made her acting debut in Bollywood with Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar (2011), starring opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Her performance as Heer Kaul received mixed reviews, with praise for her looks but criticism for her dialogue delivery. She later appeared in films like Madras Cafe (2013), Main Tera Hero (2014), Housefull 3 (2016), and Azhar (2016). In 2015, she made her Hollywood debut in Spy, starring Melissa McCarthy.. In 2020, Fakhri starred in the action thriller Torbaaz, alongside Sanjay Dutt. She also featured in the horror film Amavas (2019).
