Nathaniel "Nat" Marvin Wolff (born December 17, 1994) is an American actor, musician, and singer-songwriter who first rose to fame as a child star alongside his younger brother, Alex Wolff. The son of actress Polly Draper and jazz musician Michael Wolff, he gained widespread recognition for starring in and composing the music for the Nickelodeon mockumentary series The Naked Brothers Band (2007–2009), which was created by his mother and based on a 2005 film. He and Alex continue to perform music as the duo Nat & Alex Wolff.Wolff successfully transitioned to an adult acting career with roles in high-profile films, notably playing Isaac in the romantic drama The Fault in Our Stars (2014), which earned him two Teen Choice Awards. He secured his first major lead role as Quentin "Q" Jacobsen in the film adaptation of the John Green novel Paper Towns (2015). Other notable film appearances include Palo Alto (2013), Home Again (2017), and the Netflix adaptation of Death Note (2017). His recent television work includes a starring role in the Prime Video series The Consultant (2023). Wolff, who was raised "culturally Jewish" and has Tourette's syndrome, has a background deeply rooted in the arts and continues to balance his career between acting and music.
