Nathan Whitehead

Nathan Whitehead is a versatile American composer, arranger, and producer known for his work in film, television, and video games. Originally from Tennessee, he now lives and works in Los Angeles. He is particularly recognized for his dark and textural scores for the popular blockbuster franchise The Purge, including The Purge, The Purge: Anarchy, and The Purge: Election Year. His other notable film credits include Keanu, Beyond Skyline, God Is a Bullet, and the 2025 psychological horror film The Home. Beyond film, Whitehead has composed for television series such as The Last Ship and for video games like the hit Sony PlayStation title Days Gone. He is also known for his passion for vinyl records and has released many of his scores in this format.
