Niamh Lynch is an Irish actress known for her roles in both film and television. She gained recognition for portraying Karen in the acclaimed Hulu series Normal People (2020), based on Sally Rooney’s novel. Her film credits include Cruella (2021), where she played the Liberty Shop Girl, and Death on the Nile (2022), in which she appeared as a Female Porter . Additionally, Lynch had roles in Anatomy of a Scandal (2022) and the 2019 adaptation of A Christmas Carol. Born into a family with no direct ties to the entertainment industry—her father was a paramedic and her mother is a midwife—Lynch developed an early passion for performing arts. She studied at Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance, graduating in 2018 . Beyond acting, Lynch is also interested in music and has expressed a deep appreciation for it. In 2023, Lynch appeared in the long-running British sci-fi series Doctor Who as Hoochy Pie .
