Nicholas Alexander Chavez (born September 6, 1999) is an American actor who has quickly gained recognition for his work in both television and film. He first rose to prominence for his role as Spencer Cassadine on the ABC soap opera General Hospital, which he played from 2021 to 2024. His performance earned him the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Performer in a Drama Series in 2022.More recently, Chavez has taken on significant roles in two of Ryan Murphy's crime drama series. In 2024, he portrayed Lyle Menendez in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, and also appeared as Father Charlie Mayhew in the horror series Grotesquerie. His upcoming projects include the film I Know What You Did Last Summer (2025), a sequel to the iconic slasher franchise, and the psychological thriller The Technique (2025).Chavez was born in Houston, Texas, and spent his childhood primarily in Denver, Colorado. He developed an early interest in performing and studied at Rutgers University before taking a leave of absence to pursue acting full-time in Los Angeles. He is currently in a relationship with actress and model Victoria Abbott, whom he met on the set of Grotesquerie.
