Nick Jonas is an American singer, songwriter, and actor, best known as a member of the pop band Jonas Brothers. Born Nicholas Jerry Jonas on September 16, 1992, in Dallas, Texas, he was raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Nick began his career at the age of seven on Broadway, performing in productions such as A Christmas Carol, Les Misérables, and Beauty and the Beast. His musical journey took a significant turn when he co-founded the Jonas Brothers with his older brothers, Kevin and Joe. The trio gained fame in the mid-2000s, particularly through their association with the Disney Channel. In addition to his band activities, Nick pursued a solo career, releasing albums like Nick Jonas (2014) and Last Year Was Complicated (2016), with hits such as "Jealous". He has also showcased his acting talents in films like Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) and Jumanji: The Next Level (2019), as well as in the TV series Kingdom (2014–2017). Beyond his entertainment career, Nick is an advocate for diabetes awareness, having been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 13. He married Indian actress Priyanka Chopra in December 2018, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie, via surrogate in January 2022.
