Nobunaga Shimazaki (島﨑 信長, Shimazaki Nobunaga; born December 6, 1988) is a highly prominent Japanese voice actor (seiyū) affiliated with Aoni Production, who was born in Shiogama, Miyagi Prefecture. Inspired to pursue voice acting after watching Mobile Suit Gundam Wing in elementary school, he eventually joined Aoni Juku Tokyo and made his professional debut in 2009. Shimazaki has risen to become one of the most in-demand voice actors in the modern anime landscape, known for his versatile ability to portray a wide range of characters, from quiet, sensitive protagonists to eccentric, confident rivals, and even chaotic villains. He is most famously recognized for his leading roles as the competitive swimmer Haruka Nanase in the Free! franchise, the kind-hearted boy who inherits the demon king's powers Shidō Itsuka in Date A Live, the aloof but kind Yuki Sohma in Fruits Basket (2019), and the chilling, malevolent antagonist Mahito in Jujutsu Kaisen. His extensive list of main roles also includes Shinichi Izumi in Parasyte, Shun Kaidō in The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., Yuno in Black Clover, Eugeo in Sword Art Online: Alicization, and Nagi Seishirou in Blue Lock.
