Noorin Gulamgaus

Noorin Gulamgaus is a Canadian actor, born in Kabul, Afghanistan, on August 28, 1997, and raised in Toronto, Canada. He is the brother of actress Sirena Gulamgaus. His acting journey began without an agent, securing a role in the 2014 "RoboCop" remake, which he credits as a pivotal experience that showed him the possibilities in the industry. He further honed his craft by attending a performing arts high school in Toronto and later drama school for two years starting in 2021.Gulamgaus has built a diverse filmography across both film and television. His notable film roles include "The Breadwinner" (2017), an Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominated animated film produced by Angelina Jolie, where he provided the voice for characters Idrees and Sulayman. He also appeared in "A Simple Favor" (2018) and the Netflix film "Code 8: Part II" (2024), in which he worked alongside his sister. His television credits include "Chapelwaite" (2021), "Northern Rescue" (2019), "Private Eyes" (2017), "Salvation" (2017), and "Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent" (2024).Beyond acting, Gulamgaus has expressed a passion for telling authentic stories and giving a voice to the voiceless, often motivated by his own experiences and a desire to inspire other aspiring artists. He is also venturing into writing and directing, with a short film titled "Dear Home" in post-production.
