Oliver Ormson

Oliver Ormson is a British actor and singer renowned for his dynamic performances in musical theatre. He trained at Liverpool Theatre School and has since built a diverse career across the West End and beyond. Ormson is best known for originating the role of Prince Hans in the West End production of Disney’s Frozen, which opened at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in 2021. In an interview, he described Hans as a prince who is 13th in line to the throne in his own kingdom and has no chance of ascending to the throne unless he marries into it, making that his main goal in the show, even if it means doing anything to achieve it. His other notable stage credits include the original company of Back to the Future: The Musical in Manchester, High Fidelity at the Turbine Theatre, Cats at Kilworth House, The Book of Mormon at the Prince of Wales Theatre, The Addams Family on UK and international tours, Sopranos vs Tenors on a European tour, and Hairspray at Aberystwyth Arts Centre . Beyond his stage work, Ormson has appeared on television in West Side Story with the Reef Television/BBC Symphony Orchestra . In 2023, Ormson returned to his alma mater, Liverpool Theatre School, to lead the graduation celebrations, presenting awards to graduates and sharing his journey from student to West End performer .
