Olivia Hastings Holt is an American actress and singer who initially rose to prominence through her work with the Disney Channel and has successfully transitioned into dramatic adult roles and a pop music career. Born on August 5, 1997, in Germantown, Tennessee, Holt began her career at a young age, appearing in commercials before landing her breakthrough role as Kim Crawford in the Disney XD martial arts comedy series Kickin' It (2011–2015), followed by the lead in the Disney Channel series I Didn't Do It. She then shifted to more mature roles, starring as the Marvel superhero Tandy Bowen / Dagger in the Freeform series Cloak & Dagger (2018–2020), and receiving critical praise for her lead performance as Kate Wallis in the Freeform psychological thriller Cruel Summer (2021). As a singer, she signed with Hollywood Records in 2014, releasing multiple singles including the Billboard Dance Club Songs No. 1 hit "Generous", and in 2023, she made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago. Her recent film work includes the slasher-comedy Totally Killer (2023) and starring as Sophia in the Netflix holiday rom-com, Jingle Bell Heist (2025).
