Olivia Perez is a young American actress and model who has quickly risen to prominence in film and television. Born in New York, she began her professional career as a model at the age of four, working with brands such as Target, Gap Kids, and Esprit. She transitioned to acting at age seven and gained significant recognition for her role as Iris, the daughter of Usnavi and Vanessa, in the 2021 film adaptation of the Broadway musical In the Heights. In 2022, she reached a global audience playing Avy Russell, the precocious and kindhearted daughter of Jake (Chord Overstreet), in the Netflix holiday hit Falling for Christmas. In addition to her film work, Perez is a familiar face on television. She has a recurring role as Mia, Nina’s niece, on Sesame Street and has appeared in series such as Tommy and Dash & Lily.
