Owen Thiele is an American actor, writer, singer, and podcaster, born on November 4, 1996, in Houston, Texas. He grew up in Beverly Hills, California, where he attended The Adderley School of Performing Arts and Crossroads School. After a brief period at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, he dropped out to pursue his career. Thiele has trained at renowned institutions such as Upright Citizens Brigade, Second City, the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, and the Meisner Institute.He gained recognition for his roles in "Theater Camp" (2023), where he played costume director Gigi Charbonier, and has since appeared in a variety of projects including "Adults" (2025), "Overcompensating" (2025), "Zoey 102" (2023), and "Parachute" (2024). His television credits include "Dollface" and "Hacks." Thiele also appeared in Taylor Swift's music videos for "The Man" and "You Need to Calm Down." Beyond acting, he is the host of the podcast "In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele" on the Unwell network and is developing a semi-autobiographical comedy series for Amazon Prime Video. He was adopted from birth by music producer Bob Thiele Jr. and his wife.
