Paul Jeffrey "P.J." Byrne is an American actor born on December 15, 1974, in Maplewood, New Jersey. He was raised in Old Tappan, New Jersey. Byrne initially pursued a different path, graduating from Boston College with a double major in finance and theater, and had intended to become an investment banker. However, a drama teacher encouraged him to follow his passion for acting, leading him to earn an MFA from The Theatre School at DePaul University.Byrne began his acting career in the early 2000s with small roles in films like "Bruce Almighty" (2003), "Fun with Dick and Jane" (2005), and "Bewitched" (2005). He also made guest appearances in various television series, including "ER," "The West Wing," and "NCIS," before securing a recurring role as Irv Smiff in the UPN/CW series "The Game." His career gained more prominence with roles in films such as "Horrible Bosses" (2011), "Final Destination 5" (2011), "Dinner for Schmucks," "Extraordinary Measures," and "The Campaign." He is notably recognized for his role as Nicky "Rugrat" Koskoff in Martin Scorsese's critically acclaimed film "The Wolf of Wall Street" (2013).
