Pan Binlong (潘斌龙), born on 12 July 1977 in Jixi, Heilongjiang, is a Chinese actor, comedian, and xiangsheng (crosstalk) performer known for his comedic timing and emotional depth. He served in the military from 1996 to 2003 before pursuing formal training in performing arts at the Central Academy of Drama. Gaining early fame through traditional xiangsheng competitions and performances, he made a significant impression with his appearance on the CCTV Spring Festival Gala in 2008. His breakout came with the comedy series Happy City: Love in the Conference Room in 2012, which led to a series of notable film roles, including in Jian Bing Man (2015) and the highly praised A Cool Fish (2018), the latter earning him Best Supporting Actor at several film festivals. In 2021, Pan won widespread respect and a broader audience after winning I Am an Actor 3, where he showcased a surprising range beyond comedy.
