Park Gyu-young (born July 27, 1993) is a prominent South Korean actress who has gained significant recognition for her versatile roles across several successful K-dramas and Netflix series. She studied at Yonsei University before being street-cast and began her career with JYP Entertainment in 2015.She first rose to prominence through her complex supporting role as nurse Nam Joo-ri in the critically acclaimed drama It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020). Her career subsequently surged with leading roles in major streaming and television projects. She played the tough, guitar-wielding survivor Yoon Ji-su in the global Netflix hit Sweet Home (2020) and reprised the role in its subsequent seasons.Park Gyu-young successfully transitioned to female leads in romantic comedies like Dali & Cocky Prince (2021) and the fantasy-romance A Good Day to Be a Dog (2023), winning her a Best New Actress award at the 2021 KBS Drama Awards.
