Park Ji-il (born September 1960) is a veteran South Korean actor with a long and distinguished career spanning theater, film, and television. He made his theater debut in 1986 with "Death Fugue" and has since appeared in numerous stage productions, including "Crime and Punishment" and "Mamma Mia."In film, Park Ji-il has been a consistent presence, often taking on supporting roles that contribute significantly to the narrative. His filmography includes a wide variety of genres, from thrillers like "The Suspect" (2013) and "Shiri" (1999) to historical dramas such as "The Fortress" (2017) and "The Man Standing Next" (2020). He also appeared in the critically acclaimed film "Exhuma" (2024) and the recently released 2025 South Korean drama "Big Deal," where he plays Go Joong-Cheon.On television, Park Ji-il has an extensive list of credits, often portraying authoritative figures such as government officials, executives, or seasoned professionals.
