Paul F. Tompkins (born September 12, 1968, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American comedian, actor, writer, and voice artist known for his sharp wit and distinctive voice. He began his career in stand-up comedy in 1986 and later gained prominence as a writer and performer on HBO’s Mr. Show with Bob and David (1995) . Tompkins' voice acting work includes roles in animated series such as Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist, King of the Hill, Bob’s Burgers, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. In Disney’s Tangled (2010), he voiced one of the thugs, contributing to the film's comedic elements . He also voiced Mr. Peanutbutter in BoJack Horseman and Gladstone Gander in the DuckTales reboot. In addition to his voice work, Tompkins has appeared in live-action films such as There Will Be Blood (2007) and Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny (2006).
