Paulette Hernández is a Mexican actress born on December 3, 1990, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She is recognized for her versatile performances in film, television, and theater. Hernández began her acting career at the age of 17 and is an alumna of the Centro de Formación y Actualización en Actuación (CEFAT) at TV Azteca . In 2023, Hernández gained international recognition for her role as Valentina in Saw X, the tenth installment of the Saw horror franchise. Her character, Valentina, is a sex worker who deceives cancer patients by posing as a nurse in a fraudulent clinic. After John Kramer (Jigsaw) discovers the scam, Valentina becomes one of his victims, subjected to one of his infamous life-or-death tests. Beyond Saw X, Hernández's filmography includes roles in My Demons Never Swore Solitude (2017), Cuna de Lobos (2019), and Solo Respira (2022). On television, she has appeared in series such as A Corazón Abierto (2011), Destino (2013–2014), and Corona de Lágrimas (2022) . In interviews, Hernández has expressed her enthusiasm for horror films and the opportunity to be part of the Saw franchise.
