Peter Dager
Peter Dager (born June 28, 1993), widely known by his in-game tag ppd, is an American former professional esports player, coach, and esports executive famed for his strategic prowess in Dota 2. He began his competitive gaming journey with Heroes of Newerth (as "peterpandam") around 2010 before transitioning to Dota 2 in 2012 . Dager rose to prominence as the captain and drafter of Evil Geniuses, where he masterminded their victory at The International 2015—the most prestigious tournament in esports . Later, he served as Evil Geniuses’ CEO, guiding the organization through expansion and continued competitive success, before stepping down in 2017 to return as a player. After stints with OpTic Gaming and Ninjas in Pyjamas, Dager retired from competitive play in April 2020, later undertaking a coaching role with Alliance in 2021 . Off the battlefield, he launched the North American Dota Challengers League, hosts a popular esports podcast, and maintains a strong digital presence on Twitch, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
