Philip Keung Ho-Man
Philip Keung Ho-Man (姜皓文) is a highly regarded and prolific Hong Kong actor and film producer, born on October 26, 1966. Keung's career began in 1985 when he competed in Asia Television's (ATV) first Mr. Television Competition, where he secured second place and the "Mr. Talent" award, subsequently becoming a contracted ATV artiste. While he started in television, making his film debut in 1988, he eventually left ATV in 2010 to focus primarily on a full-time film career, becoming one of Hong Kong cinema's most dependable and versatile actors, known for his ability to portray a wide range of characters, often in crime and action genres. Keung's persistence in the industry, despite a difficult childhood and being discouraged early on, eventually led to critical acclaim. He achieved significant success and recognition in his later career, notably winning the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the 2017 film, Shock Wave. He also received a nomination for Best Actor at the Hong Kong Film Awards for his lead role in the 2018 film, Tracey. His extensive filmography includes other major works such as Trivisa (2016), The Goldfinger (2023), and Bursting Point (2023). He is married to former ATV actress Anna Kam, whom he wed in 1999.
