Pia Borgli
Pia Borgli, born on April 28, 1959, is a Norwegian actress with a notable career spanning theatre, film, and television. She began her professional journey in 1979 at the Oslo Nye Teater, where she has primarily worked since, becoming a permanent ensemble member in 1988. Her extensive stage experience includes diverse roles in both comedy and drama, such as Hilde Wangel in Henrik Ibsen's "The Master Builder," as well as roles in children's theatre productions like Snow White and Ronja the Robber's Daughter.Borgli made her film debut in "Fifty-fifty" (1982) and has since appeared in a wide array of films. Some of her prominent film credits include "Hører du ikke hva jeg sier!" (1995), "Maja Steinansikt" (1996), "Empty Barrels" (2010), and "The Record" (2022). She is also slated to appear in Joachim Trier's upcoming 2025 film "Sentimental Value" as the character Thea. On television, she has been seen in series such as "Amalies jul" (1995), "Occupied" (2015), "22 July" (2020), and "A Storm for Christmas" (2022). Beyond acting, Borgli has also worked in art department and as additional crew on various productions. She is married to Morten Bruenech and has two sons.
