Pierre Simpson is a highly accomplished Canadian actor, known for his versatile work across stage, film, television, and voice acting. Born in Welland, Ontario, and a graduate of the University of Ottawa's bilingual Theatre Department, he is fluently bilingual in English and French, which has allowed him to work extensively in both of Canada's official languages.Simpson has delighted audiences professionally for over 20 years, earning a Dora Award nomination (Toronto's equivalent of the Tonys) and a Rideau Award for his stage performances, including his role in the play "When it Rains" which toured internationally to Edinburgh and Mumbai. He has a strong background in theatre, having appeared in productions such as "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (Canadian Stage) and "Les Médecins de Molière" (Théâtre français de Toronto). He has also directed theatre, notably "Les Zinspirés."His film and television credits are extensive and diverse, showcasing his ability to inhabit a wide range of characters. Notable roles include Gabri Dubeau in "Three Pines" (Amazon Prime), a distraught parent in "Transplant" (NBC/CTV), and an EMS driver in "Hannibal" opposite Laurence Fishburne and Mads Mikkelsen.
