Pit Bukowski is a German actor who was born in 1988 in Berlin, Germany. Despite not having formal training in acting, he was discovered at the age of fifteen by director Stefan Krohmer and cast in a pivotal supporting role in the 2003 satire Sie haben Knut (They've Got Knut), which launched his career. Known for his intense and varied character work, Bukowski has become a recognizable face in German and international film and television. His notable film roles include Lore (2012), Der Samurai (2014), As We Were Dreaming (2015), and the acclaimed World War II drama The Forgotten Battle (2021). On television, he is widely recognized for his recurring roles in critically successful German series such as the historical drama Babylon Berlin and the U-Boat drama Das Boot (Seasons 1 and 2).
