Pontus Edgren

Pontus Edgren, born in 1969, is a Swedish media entrepreneur, producer, writer, and actor. He is a prominent figure in the Scandinavian film and television industry, particularly known for his role as CEO of the production company FLX, which he co-owned with Felix Herngren from 2013 to 2024. During his time at FLX, he was instrumental in the production of numerous successful projects, including the popular TV series Solsidan and Bonus Family, as well as the films The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared and Quicksand.After FLX was sold to SF Studios, Edgren left the company and co-founded a new production company, Ivy Prodco, in late 2024. Throughout his career, he has served as an executive producer on a vast number of films and television series, including An Honest Life (2025). Edgren has also made acting appearances in some of the projects he has worked on, such as a role in the TV series Solsidan.
