Pranav Mohanlal
Pranav Mohanlal is an Indian actor, singer, and songwriter, born on July 13, 1990, in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, as the son of veteran actor Mohanlal and Suchitra Mohanlal. He completed his schooling at Hebron School in Ooty and later graduated with a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of New South Wales in Australia. Pranav first appeared on screen as a child artist in Onnaman (2002) and won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist for his lead role in Punarjani (2003). After a long break to pursue his education and personal interests like travelling and reading, he returned to the industry in 2015, working behind the camera as an assistant director for Jeethu Joseph on films like Papanasam and Life of Josutty. He made his successful debut as a lead actor in the action thriller Aadhi (2018), where he also debuted as a singer-songwriter with the English track "Gypsy Women," showcasing his skills as a trained traceur who performed his own parkour stunts. Pranav achieved significant critical and commercial success with the coming-of-age film Hridayam (2022) and has since appeared in Varshangalkku Shesham (2024) and the horror thriller Diés Iraé (2025).
