Prokhor Alexandrovich Chekhovskoy, born on November 28, 1983, in Moscow, is a highly versatile Russian stage, film, and voice actor celebrated for his prolific career in dubbing. Born into a theatrical family as the son of actors Alexander Bykov and Lada Mosharova, he originally performed under the name Prokhor Bykov before adopting his paternal grandmother’s surname, Chekhovskoy, at the age of eighteen. A graduate of the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS), he has been a prominent member of the Russian Academic Youth Theatre (RAMT) since 2005. His stage prowess is complemented by unique physical talents; as a member of the "Fekhomaniya" team, he has won two gold medals at the World Artistic Fencing Championship. Chekhovskoy is most widely recognized as a "master of dubbing," having voiced over 200 international films and animated series for the Russian market. He is the official Russian voice for several Hollywood stars, most notably becoming synonymous with Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network, Now You See Me) and Michael J. Fox in modern redubs of the Back to the Future trilogy. His extensive animation credits include voicing the lead role of Thomas in Thomas & Friends, King Julien in The Penguins of Madagascar, and Jaskier (Dandelion) in the Russian dub of Netflix's The Witcher. In the 2021 film My Sweet Monster, he provided the original Russian voice for the villainous Bundy Joyce.
