Quim Gutiérrez (full name Joaquim Gutiérrez Ylla; b. 27 March 1981, Barcelona, Spain) is a prominent Spanish actor who launched his performing career at just 12, debuting in the Catalan soap Poblenou. After studying Humanities at Pompeu Fabra University and honing his craft at Nancy Tuñón Theatre School, he gained national fame with a five-year run on El cor de la ciutat . His breakout into cinema came with Dark Blue Almost Black (2006), earning him the Goya Award for Best New Actor—along with several accolades recognizing his breakthrough performance .
