Quirin Berg

Quirin Berg (born March 1, 1978, in Munich, Germany) is a prominent German film and television producer. While studying Production and Media Management at the University of Television and Film Munich (1999–2003), he co-founded Wiedemann & Berg Film alongside Max Wiedemann in 2003. Their company rapidly achieved acclaim with The Lives of Others, winning the 2007 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. In 2010, they expanded into high-end TV by launching W&B Television. Since January 2020, both entities have been integrated into LEONINE Studios—where Berg serves as Chief Creative Officer and Chief Production Officer, overseeing the group's entire fiction output. With more than 150 film and TV productions under his belt, including Dark, 4 Blocks, Never Look Away, and Nightlife, he's earned a slew of honors: European Film Award, BAFTA, Bavarian Entrepreneur of the Year, Bavarian Film & Television Awards, Grimme Prize, Bambi, Golden Camera, and LA Critics Award. He is also a member of the German, European, and British Film Academies.
