She pursued her education at Otterbein College, graduating in 1989 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre. After college, Harris moved to Los Angeles and became deeply involved with The Groundlings, a renowned improvisational and sketch comedy troupe, where she performed and later taught classes.Her television debut came in 1993 with an appearance on "SeaQuest DSV." Over the years, she steadily built her career with roles in various TV series and films. A significant turning point was her stint as a correspondent on "The Daily Show" from 2002 to 2003, which brought her wider recognition for her comedic talent.Harris has an extensive filmography, with notable roles including Melissa in "The Hangover" (2009) and Susan Heffley in the first three "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" films.
