Ramon Tikaram

Born on May 16, 1967, in Singapore, Ramon Tikaram is a versatile British actor of Indo-Fijian and Malaysian descent. The son of a British Army officer, his family moved frequently during his youth before he attended the Duke of York's Royal Military School in Kent. He originally intended to study economics and politics but transitioned to English at the University of Kent, where he discovered his passion for acting. Tikaram first gained significant public attention in the mid-1990s for his role as Ferdy in the BBC series This Life and his portrayal of Judas Iscariot in the West End production of Jesus Christ Superstar. His career has since spanned major television projects including EastEnders, Game of Thrones (as Prendahl na Ghezn), Pennyworth, and Brassic, as well as films such as Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love and Jupiter Ascending. In addition to his screen and stage work, Tikaram is a prolific voice actor, known for voicing Godrick the Grafted in the 2022 video game Elden Ring and Ramattra in Overwatch 2. He has also narrated various audiobooks and the BBC documentary series Big Little Crimes. Most recently, in 2024 and 2025, he has appeared in the Netflix series KAOS as Charon and was cast in the period comedy Fackham Hall. He is the brother of singer-songwriter Tanita Tikaram and currently resides in London.
