Rashmika Mandanna is a prominent Indian actress and model who primarily works in Telugu and Hindi cinema, in addition to Kannada and Tamil films. Born on April 5, 1996, in Virajpet, Karnataka, she is a highly successful and one of the highest-paid actresses in South India. Rashmika completed her bachelor's degree in Psychology, Journalism, and English Literature from M. S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce. Her career in the entertainment industry began after winning the Clean & Clear Fresh Face of India contest in 2014, leading to a brief modeling career.She made a sensational acting debut in the Kannada romantic comedy Kirik Party (2016), which became one of the highest-grossing Kannada films of the year and earned her the SIIMA Award for Best Debut Actress. She expanded her career into Telugu cinema, achieving her breakthrough with the romantic comedy Geetha Govindam (2018), which won her the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress – Telugu.
