He hails from a family deeply rooted in the arts; his mother, Christina Cabot, is an actress and acting coach, while his grandfather, Joe Cabot, was a renowned jazz musician. Ravi's acting journey began at the tender age of four when he appeared in his first national commercial. He made his television debut in 2017 on Amazon Prime Video's House Hunters: When Kids Go House Hunting and later appeared on Saturday Night Live in 2016. Ravi's breakout role came in 2020 when he portrayed Kam Barris, the son of Rashida Jones and Kenya Barris, in Netflix's comedy series #blackAF. He further showcased his talent in films such as Justine (2019), which was acquired by Ava DuVernay's ARRAY and released on Netflix, and The Artist's Wife (2019), where he played the grandson of Bruce Dern's character.
