Raymond Wong Ho-yin (黃浩然; born August 25, 1975) is a prominent Hong Kong television and film actor. He is known for his versatile acting range and has enjoyed a long and successful career in the entertainment industry.Wong graduated from the City University of Hong Kong. He initially started his career as a model before being discovered by acclaimed director Johnnie To, which launched his film career in the late 1990s. While his early film roles were often minor, he steadily built his experience.In 2002, he transitioned into television, joining Asia Television (ATV) where he gained significant recognition from Hong Kong audiences for his roles in dramas like "Son from Past" and "Central Affairs." In 2007, he moved to Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), further cementing his popularity. He received the TVB Anniversary Award for Most Improved Male Artiste in 2010 for his performances in several dramas, including "A Watchdog's Tale," "When Lanes Merge," "Can't Buy Me Love," and "No Regrets." He continued to take on major leading roles in many TVB productions, showcasing his talent in various genres.In 2019, Raymond Wong signed with Louis Koo's management company, Sky High Entertainment, and his final drama with TVB was "Forensic Heroes IV" in 2021.Throughout his career, he has appeared in numerous films, including notable works like Johnnie To's "Election" (2005) and "PTU" (2003), "Needing You..."
