Rebecca Calder
Rebecca Calder is an English actress known for her work in film, television, and on stage. Born in Consett, County Durham, she spent parts of her childhood in New Zealand and Australia before returning to England and settling in London. She made her professional stage debut in 2007 and her television debut in the BBC drama Casualty.Throughout her career, Calder has appeared in a number of notable projects. She won Best Actress at the European Independent Film Festival for her role in the 2015 film Love Me Do. Other film credits include The Dark Mile, Wrath of Man, and Hilma. On television, she has had recurring roles in the miniseries Hatfields & McCoys and I May Destroy You, and guest appearances in shows like Professor T and Genius, where she portrayed Coco Chanel. Most recently, she starred in the film Broken Bird. Calder is also cast in the upcoming horror film The Conjuring: Last Rites, where she will play the character of Janet Smurl.
